Wanda Luella Wheeler, 78, of Jerusalem, Ohio died Friday, July 22, 2016 in Barnesville Hospital. She was born April 12, 1938 in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Chalmer and Orpha Perkins Kemp. Wanda was a member of the Ozark Church of Christ and an employee of the former Jonathan Logan Garment Factory in Barnesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Gene Wheeler; a daughter, Sharon Shriver; a son-in-law, Jesse Stephens; three brothers, Glen Kemp, Virgil Kemp, and Everett Kemp; also a sister, Dorothy Eikenberry. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Daniel) Clark of Bethesda and Connie Stephens of Beallsville; four grandchildren, Christine Clark (Kevin Gessling), Jessica Stephens, Jaime (Rhett) Swallie, and Tony (Alyssa) Stephens; six great-grandchildren, Carson, Paige, Carter, Kate, Paisley, and Jessie; a brother, Wilfred (Lois) Kemp. No visitation was held; private graveside services were conducted Sunday, July 25 in Beallsville Cemetery with Minister Don Thompson officiating.
