Wayne Shirbish Obituary

Charles Wayne Shirbish, Jr., 77, of Jerusalem, Ohio died Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his home He was born July 29, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Wayne, Sr. and Lou Kirin Shirbish. Wayne was a retired teacher from the Switzerland of Ohio School District, a member of the Jerusalem Church of Christ, and a US Army Veteran. Surviving are his loving wife of 29 years, Jane Graham Shirbish; a daughter, Kelli Mays; two step-sons, Loren (Dena) Ricer and Lyle (Barb) Ricer; five grandchildren; Andrew (Kayla) Mays, Raegan Ricer, Logan Ricer, Aleksus Mays, and Jayla Ricer; a brother, Gary (Beverly) Shirbish; a sister, Hilda Lantz; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, Ohio, Monday, July 27 from 5pm to 8pm where social distancing will be observed and face masks are encouraged. Burial will take place in Holly Memorial Gardens, near St. Clairsville, Ohio. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren Christian Apologetics Center, 850 Aultman Avenue, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26104 or Cancer Gas Cards, Inc., c/o Shirley Brown, 48397 Keylor Hill Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
