Willa Mae Pyles-Miner, 66, of Beallsville died Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born December 7, 1945 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ross Barton and Willa Witt Hines. Willa was a member of the First Christian Church, Beallsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Paul "Scottie" Pyles. Surviving are seven children, Tammy Brown-Saffell and Karen (Floyd) Baldwin-Saffell, both of Beallsville, James McGilton of Columbus, Charles (Debbie) Pyles of Bethesda, Stephen Pyles of Barnesville, April (Larry Baker) Pyles of Piedmont, and Amber (Dave) Pyles-Glover of Georgia; three brothers, Herman Barton of Piedmont, Leo (Bonnie ) Barton of Warnock, and Othel Barton of Roanoke, VA; two sisters, Leona (John) Cummings of St. Clairsville and Dessie (Bob) Bethel of Morristown; 12 grandchildren, Matt Brown, Chris Brown, Jacob Saffell, Alan Baldwin, Joshua Baldwin, Ryan Saffell, Jade Myers, Cierra Pyles, Cheorkee Glover, Charles Pyles, Jr., Chavis Pyles, and Anthony Jewell; four great-grandchildren, Nate Baldwin, Garrett Brown, Dalton Brown, and Dyson Pyles; her special friend and care-giver, Symantha Demello, also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville 2 to 4 PM & 6 to 8 PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial follows in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
